The National Broadband Network (NBN) is Australia's first national wholesale-only, open access communications network that is being built to bring high speed broadband and telephone services within the reach of all Australian premises.
The NBN will utilise the most appropriate technology for a given location with the aim of improving ways for you to connect with one another. The plan is for every home, school and workplace in the country to have access to the NBN.
The aim is to have the majority of Greater Dandenong connected to the network during 2017-2018.
To find out when the network will be available for your home or business go visit:
If your address does not yet have access you can sign up for email updates and the nbn network will contact you when the rollout in your area is complete.
Once the rollout is complete it will be up to individual residents and business owners to contact their internet provider and arrange connection to the network.
For the most up to date information on the NBN visit the National Broadband Network website or phone 1800 687 626.
